On the 23rd of July, 2017 Deshantari of Ottawa-Carleton held a special ceremony to recognize and honour Dr. Dipak Roy, Chairman of D-Ta Systems, Inc. and to celebrate a special award, the first ever won by a Canadian – The Association of Old Crows (AOC) has selected Dipak Roy for membership in the “Electronic Warfare Technology Hall of Fame.”
The Award will be presented at the 54th Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention, which will be held November 28-30, 2017 in Washington, DC.

Dear Dr. Roy:
The Association of Old Crows (AOC) board of directors has established an Electronic Warfare Technology Hall of Fame that recognizes individuals or groups of individuals who have been prime innovators in technology development of electronic warfare. These efforts resulted in significant survivability improvements for our armed forces. Induction into the Electronic Warfare Technology Hall of Fame is awarded to deserving individuals or groups of individuals who have made unique and important technical contributions to the field of electronic warfare. These can be in diverse technology areas such as components, jamming systems, receiving systems, reconnaissance/SIGINT systems, threat system understanding, software, countermeasures testing, countermeasures analysis, counter-countermeasures, etc. After careful deliberation and extensive evaluation, you have been chosen to be among a select membership in the AOC Electronic Warfare Technology Hall of Fame. Congratulations on your selection.
Your award will be presented at the 54th Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention, which will be held November 28 through November 30 at the Marriot Marquis DC and Convention Center, Washington DC. The AOC would be honored if you could attend and personally receive your award. More information will follow on the presentation of your award. Technology Hall of Fame Award winners will receive complimentary registration to the full symposium.
You will also be recognized in the December issue of the Journal of Electronic Defense.
