Founded in 2002 in Ottawa, the Nepean Nighthawks Field Hockey Club offers a full range of opportunities for women, men, girls and boys to enjoy the sport of Hockey at all levels of play.
The ‘Nighthawks’ are the fastest growing Field Hockey Club in Ottawa, and one of the fastest growing in Ontario. This is the only club in Ottawa that caters to all age groups of both male and female participants. There is a “true” club feel to this club. That is one of the things that the members love about the Nighthawks.
But that is not all…
The Nighthawks’ focus is fun and participation. Nepean Nighthawks Field Hockey Club is a community-based, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to the development of field hockey in the Ottawa area and in Canada. The Nighthawks strive to strike a balance between the development of athletes and the life-long love of sport. Players at all levels are welcome!
Each season the Nighthawks participate in inter-provincial and international games and tournaments along with several tournaments across province.
Our members are selected to regional teams, Ontario Winter and Summer Games, University teams; Queens, Waterloo, Maine, Calgary, and Provincial teams (Ontario and Quebec) and even Team Canada!
Whether you wish to play, coach or umpire, we have a place for you on one of our competitive or recreational teams.
