Hello Friends of Field Hockey!
You are formally invited to The Official Field Hockey Centre Sign Reveal & Picnic – Sunday August 28th from 12:00-2:00pm at Charmaine Hooper Fields on Colonnade Road, Ottawa.
As most of you know, The Field Hockey Centre is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and growth of field hockey serving Ottawa and surrounding communities. Our goal is to use sport as a vehicle to promote community health. We are looking to create a thriving community hub for all and foster sport participation for life. We have been working hard on this project for some time now, and this is an exciting milestone in our efforts to build Ottawa’s first dedicated field hockey facility. Join us as we reveal the project sign on-location.
This picnic will bring the field hockey community and friends of hockey together to connect as a sport community. Families and friends are welcome; we would very much appreciate your support. This is going to be a fun event for all ages with activities, special guests from the sports community and more!
