Indian Food Delivery Project – Meals on Wheels

The long awaited project of ICCC Seniors to deliver fresh Indian Meals to the community members in their homes has finally seen the light of day. With our project partners West Ottawa Community Resource Center’s Meals on Wheels and Nutrition bloc the delivery of the meals has started today the  10th of August, 2021.

This pilot project has initially started in west Ottawa covering Kanata, Nepean, Bells corners, Stittsville  and Dunrobin area. Negotiations are going on with the East end and Central Ottawa hubs to start the delivery in those areas as well.

A large number of community members have already registered for this program and those who are above 60 years of age or disabled persons can still join this program. You can visit WOCRC website or go to the link below to register for this program online.
