To raise money to combat the effects of Covid 19 in India, We’re walking and running a 5K and half-marathon in Vancouver! More than that, we’ve also virtually walked 5K in Calgary and almost completed a virtual marathon in Ottawa this year. All the money raised goes directly to scholarships, educational equipment, and medical equipment to support our programs in India.

The Vancouver Half Marathon race is a major event in Vancouver, usually held in June and delayed this year because of Covid 19. Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally is registered in The Charity Challenge with the Vancouver Charity Challenge. The races are held virtually and all the time we spend walking or running in our neighbourhood will accumulate towards 5K and a half marathon of 21.1 Km from now until September the 18th. This will likely be the only year many of us will enter and complete a half marathon race!
