Cooking Up Community Services – Fundraising Breakfast to support Project Step (September 12, 2018)
On September 12, join us for a free breakfast while we raise funds for project step— a community response to youth addictions and substance abuse in Ottawa.
We know that 38 per cent of youth in high school used an illicit drug in the past year, and 43 per cent consumed alcohol. If young people continue on this path, they could be at risk of serious addictions that could set them back for life.
Luckily, project step is successful at helping young people quit drugs, stay in school and be prepared for a positive future.
Addiction doesn’t discriminate: it could be your child at risk. You can make a positive impact by supporting project step at this year’s Cooking Up Community Services breakfast.
